GILC IS A WEEKEND LONG CONFERENCE FOR BOTH INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS FROM GEORGIA INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION TO COME TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE TO SHARE IDEAS, NETWORK AND ABOVE ALL DEVELOP THEIR LEADERSHIP QUALITIES. THE GILC PLANNING COMMITTEE WILL BE THE ADVISOR'S FIRST POINT OF CONTACT TO HELP ORGANIZE A GROUP OF POTENTIAL STUDENTS TO REPRESENT THEIR INSTITUTION AT THE CONFERENCE. |
GILC stands for Georgia International Leadership Conference. This conference takes place every Spring semester. It is a weekend long conference for both international students and study abroad students from Georgia institutions of Higher Education to come together in one place to share ideas, network and above all, develop their leadership qualities.
This year's theme is Differing Ideologies in Leadership. We will explore how to interact with leaders that have different perspectives, morals, and priorities in a globalized world.
